Therapeutic Approach

Just like the human experience, no one’s journey is the same—and therapy should reflect that individuality. Recognizing that a one-size-fits-all approach rarely meets the diverse needs of each person, I have embraced an integrative therapeutic approach. Your sessions are tailored to your unique needs and who you are as a person, often blending a variety of modalities to provide the most meaningful and effective support.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in connection—building a strong, trusting relationship where you feel truly heard, valued, and safe. I begin with Person-Centered Therapy, fostering a nonjudgmental space where you can be your authentic self. From there, we’ll collaborate to explore the therapeutic techniques and modalities that resonate most with you, empowering you to pursue the goals and changes that matter most in your life.

I draw from a range of therapeutic tools, including, but not limited to:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help reframe negative thought patterns and build healthier thinking habits

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore and heal parts of yourself that may feel conflicted or disconnected

  • Narrative Therapy (NT) to help you understand and rewrite the story you’re living

  • Motivational Interviewing to gently guide you toward the changes you want to make

  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy to cultivate awareness and presence in your daily life

  • Creative Arts Therapy (Art, Nature, Play) to tap into your creative self-expression and healing potential

  • Somatic Therapy to help you reconnect with your body and its wisdom

  • Gestalt Therapy to foster awareness and presence in the here-and-now

While I have experience working with individuals across various backgrounds and life circumstances, my focus is on supporting those who are experiencing:

  • Anxiety & Depression: Nearly one in five adults navigate the challenges of depression or anxiety, a reminder that you’re not alone

  • Major Life Transitions: Divorce, career shifts, motherhood, health diagnoses, or moving to a new place

  • Chronic Pain or Illness: Living with chronic pain or illness is one of the most isolating and deeply impactful challenges an individual can face

  • Spirituality: Navigating spirituality in the modern world can be complex, particularly for those who have experienced religious trauma

  • Personal Growth: The development of a stronger connection with your authentic self, empowering you to live with greater purpose, clarity, and confidence

  • And More…Addiction, ADHD, Anger Management, Family Conflict, Grief, Parenting, Relationship Issues, Self Esteem, Stress, Trauma and PTSD, Women's Issues

No matter what you're facing, I believe that healing begins with a strong, trusting relationship—one where you feel supported and encouraged to be vulnerable, explore new perspectives, and take steps toward the life you want to live. I am here to help you uncover the strength, resilience, and self-compassion already within you.

Why Work With Me?

  • A Customized Approach: Your journey is unique, and I’ll use a blend of modalities to tailor our work to fit your personal needs and therapeutic goals.

  • A Safe, Compassionate Space: My goal is to create an environment where you feel truly heard and understood—without any judgment or pressure.

  • A Gentle, Client-Centered Approach: I will meet you where you are, respecting your pace and helping you explore the tools that feel right for you.
